The League of Women Voters informs and encourages citizen participation by registering voters, by preparing and publishing the Voters Guide, by conducting forums and debates, and by answering thousands of calls regarding voter information. With only one part-time secretary, the League relies on and appreciates the efforts and volunteer hours so generously given by League members.
