Guide to Voting Information and Elected Officials Representing Houston and Harris County Annually, LWVHEF publishes the Voters Key, a guide to elected officials. The Key is the most comprehensive listing of elected officials in Harris County. It provides names, offices held, contact information, and job descriptions for your representatives—from the president to city officials to judges and school board members. When you are asked to contact your representatives or when you want to participate in your government, refer to the Voters Key. Help make a difference and Make Democracy Work!

Writing Your Representatives in Government

As a voter, your opinions help determine how your elected officials vote on a given issue or what kind of policy decisions they make. Let your representatives know your views by card, letter, fax or e-mail. The proper salutations for government representatives can be found in the Voters Key.
