Election Season 2012

It's almost here. The day when every shred of campaign promotion, life experience, shared information, learned persuasion, lively argument and informed discourse guides you to the finish line. Now it's just you and the ballot box. You make your choices and you vote.

Please shoot me an email and tell me how the League helped you this Election Season. Did you watch one of our candidate debates? Did you print your customized ballot at Vote411.org? Maybe you plan to read through the print edition of the Voters Guide and make notes with a ball point pen. Did you check your copy of the VOTER newsletter for a reminder about mail-in ballot deadlines or early voting dates? Did a Facebook or Twitter post provide a timely prompt? Did you forward an informational email to a friend? Tell us what was important and what was an utter flop. We're already making plans for 2012.

One more thing. Next time you're at your computer spend a few minutes - well actually it's 28 minutes and 27 seconds - with some of your League colleagues as they go about their outreach services activities.
