WE LOBBY for passage of laws we support and for the defeat of those we oppose, based on study and consensus of our members.

WE COOPERATE with other organizations working toward our action goals.

WE PUBLISH Voters Guides, Voter Keys, voter information and other educational materials.

The League of Women Voters was founded in 1920 to promote political responsibility through informed and active citizen participation. We are strictly nonpartisan (we do not support or oppose candidates or political parties). Any U.S. citizen of voting age may be a member.
